This is a two-bedroom home built overlooking the Placencia lagoon and Mayan mountains. Custom designed with hardwood floors and cabinets and high vaulted ceilings it has an airy, spacious ... morefeel to the home. It is the end house on a cul de sac, so a quiet location, but just a few minutes walk to the nearest bars, restaurants, grocery store and beach.
The house has two large bedrooms both with individually controlled air conditioning and plenty of storage.
The bathroom has beautiful granite counters, a single vanity, a shower, and a bathtub.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and cookware you will need, including a fridge-freezer, gas stove and oven, coffee pot, and blender for those sunset tropical drinks. The kitchen is finished with locally sourced hardwood cabinets and granite countertops. A washing machine is also provided for your convenience and a drying line.
The open plan living and dining area merge seamlessly with the open kitchen. There is comfortable lounge seating for four, plus a separate dining table and chairs. There is another air conditioning unit in the living area to keep you cool and comfortable. There are double doors leading from the living area and kitchen onto the large deck - one of the best features of the house. Here you will find outdoor furniture, including hammocks, and this will become your favorite spot to spend time - reading, relaxing, keeping an eye out for passing dolphins or manatees, and of course for watching the sunsets over the lagoon and mountains. Two bikes and two kayaks are provided for your enjoyment!

We offer 3 rental suites at the house, accommodating a total of 8 people; the owners (an English/Belizean couple) Annelise Hagan and Doyle Gardiner live on the 2nd floor with their cats! Please note, there is a 2-night minimum stay.
- "Garden Suite" - 1st floor - 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom suite. For 4 people maximum (4 adults or 2 adults, 2 children).
In each bedroom, you can choose between one king-size bed or two twins. Both the bedrooms have AC. One of the rooms has a safety deposit box and a kitchenette that has a small fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, toaster oven, 2 burner electric hob and pots, and pans. The two bedrooms are joined internally by the bathroom which has a WC, tiled shower, and two hand-painted washbasins. Also provided: iron, ironing board, hair-dryer, umbrella, bathrobes, and bath and beach towels.
- "Hibiscus Suite" - 1st floor - queen size bed and 1 small sofa-bed. For 2 adults and 1 child maximum.
Completed in 2016, our 1st floor "Hibiscus Suite" boasts a full kitchen (fridge, stove, and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine), in addition to AC and a safety deposit box. Also provided: hair-dryer, umbrella, bathrobes, and bath and beach towels. This suite has a studio layout and has one queen bed, a sofa-bed suitable for a young child, and a separate bathroom with a shower.
- "Skytop Suite" - 3rd floor - queen size bed. For 2 adults maximum.
The 3rd-floor "Skytop Suite" is situated on the rooftop terrace. It has splendid vistas over the Placencia Lagoon and mangroves to the Maya mountains. The suite has a queen-size bed with en-suite "wet-room" bathroom, AC, and safety deposit box. There is a separate kitchenette that has a small fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, 2 burner electric hob and pots, and pans. The external entrance opens straight out onto the roof-top terrace and plunge pool, complete with bar-height table and chairs, sun loungers and outdoor shower.
The rooftop terrace and plunge pool are available for use by all guests (it is not private to the SkyTop Suite). There is also an outdoor shower by the pool to rinse off before and after pool use.
